The Demons Told Me To Make This Game - Ways to Die & Loop 1 Ending
40A compilation of the various ways Gum and Tape can meet a terrible end in Loop 0 and Loop 1 of The Demons Told Me to Make This Game, a visual novel in which you possess hosts and try to guide them through hazardous situations to avert a demonic ritual. Or you can purposefully get them killed doing stupid things as I do.
Despite some bugs and typos, this has a pretty solid foundation for a visual novel that's entered early access with the first loop out of five planned loops available (the dev is aiming for a new loop about every six months so hopefully that all pans out well). Loop 1 is already pretty sizeable as whichever character you don't possess makes their own choices for each of the five events in Loop 1 and, for some of them, you must control them for that event or they'll die from making their own choices (i.e. without your guidance Tape will be killed by Hoboctopus) but playing an event where the character survives on their own can provide useful information for advancing through the loop (i.e. the event after dealing with the priest as Tape provides a clue for helping Gum escape the police station). On top of that there's optional stuff like defeating Penguin (who will show up at the mall when playing as Tape if not dealt with in Gum's event 2) or replaying events to see different variations.
As such, I'm pretty excited to see future updates and hopefully will be more prompt in getting the deaths updated.
The game also has a dildo wand which the demons told me to censor this for YouTube through an abundance of caution.
