The Division on PC is playing Survival mode with PVP on. Played on a PC at 4k
1Hi Folks,
It's Friday the 23rd of May at the time of recording these three survival runs tonight. This was the first run and was recorded at about 4am GMT. Sadly, there is no PVP in this game, and the RNG was being a total PITA!
Now, let's talk about the start tonight. I kept getting start after start in the Church. This is weird! Well, okay, there were many false starts before this on the left-hand side of the map. Anyhow, at least it was not the damn Jewellery shop, I guess...
So from the start in the Church, it was grabbing stuff and straight to the rooftops behind the Firestation to gank the Rikers up there, and then around both sides of the Firestation before entering Student Land, up the stairs to grab the gun in front of the stupid looters. I took care of them and then went around the quad collecting stuff as we went, into the student accommodation safe room to make up a green gun, extended mags, and whatever else I could afford.
Then, of course, it was out to the burning crashed helicopter, ganking looters like mad, and taking their pilfered stuff back as we had more need of it! Then back out to the Firehouse safe room to craft everything else available and upgrade everything to green and blue standard. Then off toward the back of the secret courtyard, dropping down to take care of the looters and grabbing the stuff in the secret room. On to the road behind the main street, looping around to the middle of the main drag, and starting the run proper!
Up the main street and across the rooftops to gank the looters, then down beside the abandoned worksite, up and down that road, avoiding the golds for now; the time will come. Upon the gantries behind the police station, I took out the Rikers blockers in the courtyard first. Then, on the other side, the little park bit cleared, I grabbed the stuff and went back on the rooftop. I did actually gank the two gold cleaners at the car park zone across the street from the Rikers. Others were involved in that fight, too, if I remember correctly! Next, I cleared that parking area, then the little car park and rooftop before jumping down the scaffolding to get to the outside of the police station, where I went into ganking mode and then into full clearance mode, coming up the street toward the first real safe room.
There, I made up my basic full blue loadout and was very lucky to already have a purple machine gun and a couple of purple bits of armour. The usual abilities I’ve experienced taking others just don't seem as good as the turret and heal box. I know others swear that instant healing is better, but I’m not sure about that.
Anyhow, off to gank the Rikers at the first hard point, then down and across by the Opera house and up on the rooftops. All along this way, we grabbed stuff to help with the build until we ended up at the second safe room, the last one before the centre Darkzone entryway at DZ03 by Park Avenue, I believe.
I only needed to make one purple gun, a G36 type, and a couple of accessories. Everything else was broken down and made to the gold standard, then ganked the last block into the Darkzone.
The Darkzone was fun, and nothing really weird or out of place. It all went quite well; I made up the last build and called down the extract helicopter. Uber battled the Hunter, and he was being a PITA. Eventually, I ganked him and extracted. Not a bad run. I hope you enjoyed it.
There is no commentary; this was me, bubbling around and having some fun. I run all my survival mode games with PVP on, and if I end up against another human, fine, I win some, but I admit I lose more.
