Hi folks,

I used the original routine for my second run on Tuesday. I wasn't feeling up for it yesterday (Monday), but it was a fun run. Now, I'm going to have a bit of a rant: I am sick and tired of people playing silly disconnection games right at the start of the game. They disconnected to appear as if they've left the game, then enter and try to sneak up behind you. It's childish, and if your connection is that bad, explain why it never disconnects at any other time?

I know there are disconnections, but unless I am more than halfway through the game, I usually say 'sod it' and try again with a new server. Anyhow, they did this, and then I missed them in the dark zone collecting their meds. They must have run off as I was lurking on the garage roof, ready to attack. Oh, they then did the run-in, and you get two hunters' BS; oh well, I killed them both. The player was obviously too scared to actually attack me. Pity!

I started at The center student unit and ran across the roof top and grabbed the stuff dropped down and then ran across the road towards the building with a couple of goodies in it including food and usually looters in ready to shoot you as you attempt to grab the gun behind them anhoy another player ran up. So I started shooting him before he, of course, shot me a couple of grenades and lots of pew pews later, I dropped him 2 times, but of course, the looters heard all this and were attacking as well. What fun!

Anyhow got out of that grabbed the gun the went towards the crashed helicopter bugger another player had been there first! Annoyingly, I managed to find a few nice bits and bobs despite this! Then out and did the rikers behind the fire station and into the firehouse safe room to make some stuff before we carry on into the main street. I later met the other player as he killed himself by purple riker behind the police station. So I grabbed his stuff, killed the riker, and kept on going..

Up the main street and across the rooftops to gank the looters and then down beside the abandoned work site up and down that road avoiding the golds at this time the time will come. Up on the gantries behind the police station and take out the Rikers blockers in the courtyard first. Then, on the other side, the little park bit cleared, grabbed the stuff and went back on the rooftop. I did actually gank the two gold cleaners at the car park zone across the street from the Rikers. There were others involved in that fight, too, if I remember correctly! Next, I cleared that park area, then the little car park and rooftop, before jumping down the scaffolding to get to the outside of the police station. Where I went into ganking and then went into full clearance mode coming up the street toward the first real safe room.

There, I made up my basic full blue load out and was very lucky already to have a purple machine gun and a couple of purple bits of Armour. The usual abilities I have experienced taking others just don't seem as good as the turret and heal box. I know others swear the instant heal is better, but I am not sure about that.

Anyhow, off to gank the Rikers at the first hard point, then down and across by the Opra house and up on the rooftops. All along this way, we grabbed stuff to help make the build/until we ended up at the second safe room, the last one before the centre Darkzone entryway at DZ03 by Park Avenue, I believe.

I only needed to make one purple gun, a G36 type and a couple of accessories. Everything else was broken down and made to gold standard, then ganked the last block into the Darkzone.

Ther Darkzone was fun and nothing really weird or out of place. It all went quite well, made upon the last build and called down the extract helicopter. Uber battled the Hunter, and he was being a PITA. Eventually, I ganked him and extracted. Not a bad run. I hope you enjoyed it.


There is no commentary; this was me, bubbling around and having some fun. I run all my survival mode games with PVP on, and if I end up against another human, fine, I win some, but I admit I lose more.
