The Division on PC is playing Survival mode with PVP on. Played on a PC at 4k. Double contamination!
Hi folks,
This was my first new run after seeing my family and having a holiday up north; the weather was brilliant. Sunshine every day. WOW, some years it's still freezing at this time of year ;( But we had fun and a good relaxing away, recharged, and ready to play some more. I know it may not look like I took a break, but trust me, I have not played any games in almost 2 weeks and then was playing Atomfell, an amazing game set here in the UK in a fictional 1950's timeline. I can't recommend this game enough fantastic graphics, an interesting and complicated storyline and action or seeking if that's your style. I prefer the sneaking myself!
So I said I whoul;d take a break, and I have. It may not appear I have, but I assure you I have had a real good break and recharged and am ready for some fun. As I said only one run today as I was tired from gardening over the weekend and overslept. So this was my only run on Monday 14th April.
I used the new double contamination route this time, which was fun. I believe I also had a PVP win in this run. I was shot at by another player just outside the broken into drugs store in Kips bay he dropped me I managed to get up then drop him and then cope de graced him. I used to make the same mistake, letting people get back up or stand so close, and I couldn't hit them either way. You're asking to be ganked yourself by playing in a PVP server like that. So sorry about that, old chap, no hard feelings I hope...
I started in the screaming machine room so out the tunnel and grab the armour blue and usfull nice! Then, along the back of the car park, ganking and grabbing as necessary along the way! idpoint halfway down on the right-hand side. Then I went around towards the power station, grabbing everything along the way. Looping back and out to the not-so-secret room before heading back to the Laundrette safe room for build-out and making the filters to allow access into the contamination zones.
Off to the first contamination zone, back past the burning garage. We will see that again on the way back ;) in Kips Bay, then out and up the main road collecting as we went around the rooftops and down by the abandoned construction site. I ganked the rioters and went around behind the gold cleaners. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to gank them today as they were always out of position to attack. I did clear out the Rikers and headed into the first real safe room for full build-out, then off down to Riker's first hard point as usual, trying to draw them away from that hard point into a killing ground of my choosing.
Anyhow, after all that, I had some nice equipment, purple weapons, and a couple of bits of purple armour to kick off the main part of the run towards the dark zone entrance.
It worked out; I think I will call it the double-contaminated route. I know it's not that different from the other, just the start, but I am working on one for the other side. Trying to link stuff is a lot trickier, but I believe I’ll get there; it might take some time, but in the end, I would like to have a choice from either side.
Aside from that, there was PVP in this run that I somehow managed to win. So that was a nice change from alwase playing on no one else in the server or 3-5 people in the server that all kill themselves before we can engage each other. It's stange that it has kept on happening recently. Maybe we have a raft of inexperienced new players?
It was still a fantastic run. I like this new route, the double contamination zones route, and I am pleased with the items I obtained. All in all, it was a fun run.
I do intend to alter this route in the middle section, cutting some bits out and trying a higher area on the map, but I'm not sure if that is a good idea until I try it!
