The Dude plays The Deimos Lab Remake! (E2M4)
2Hey guys and welcome to another one of my videos for today and one of those videos is me playing a Doom 3 mod that is a remake of an original Classic Doom Shores Of Hell map called E2M4 Deimos Lab and this is my absolute favorite Doom level and mod I have absolutely ever played as you will see why when you watch me play it in today's video, part of what I love so much about this level is how dynamic it looks when Hell changes and morphs the space station in this level and that is impressive considering that it was made not by the official team at Id Software but a Doom fan himself which is ironic as I think he did a better job at it in some ways then Id Software did at all the maps in the retail Doom 3, now don't get me wrong I absolutely love the retail Doom 3 but there we're I believe some areas they could have done better at when they made it through.
One thing I also like about this level is how it also has a gothic, haunted look to it that other retail Doom 3 maps also don't have as well, I also love the pits of Radioactive Waste in this level as well as it color-contrasts nicely with the fiery demonic stuff when the Netherworld begins to bleed the way through the Deimos Lab itself and these are especially spooky when we see demonically-possessed monitors above these said pits of Nuclear Waste as you will see show you in the video itself. You might also remember that about a year and a half ago I made a video of me no-clipping show you those monitors with the demonic creatures in them as well and had one of Youtube's free music in this video as it had a copyrighted rendition of a Mozart composition as well so I had to for that reason replace it with that said Youtube music.
