Streamed as a "Retro n Chill" session, since this is trimmed a little the text chat where I talk of what I'm doing doesn't show up. I apologise if the text is unreadable. Some mods are in effect but I don't remember which.It can take a while to get into this game as unlike the sequels the combat isn't all action as each attack needs to hit by an invisible dice roll which is very off putting to newer gamers who probably came from Skyrim and didn't avoid Oblivion because of it's dialog/faces.

As there are no quest markers so you'll have to learn to follow directions, ask around, and actually explore. And since there is no stupid level scaling you can either come back later a bigger man or you fight smart by making use of magic/acrobatics to safely attack AI out their range with a spear. You're also having to take things you probably laughed at in Oblviion more seriously.

As personal big plus, the main quest tells you to go do and do some freelance adventureing after some progress which is a nice breath of fresh air for once as not many RPGs tells you to take a break from the main quest. Sure you can just do that with almost any open world RPG but it's nice to not feel guilty about ditching the main quest to do side stuff from the pressure of how mandatory everything is that has been shoved onto you.

This narrowly slides into my top 5 Action RPGs because of that.
