The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Part 4
I'm considering swapping to heavy armor or something. While I did choose light armor for the extra speed like in Oblivion, I don't think cheesy elf armor quite fits the viking nord blacksmith-warrior archetype too well. Really the iron armor and fur/leather armor fits best aesthetically, but that's beginner level armor. Considerations to make later on.
I'm reminded now of what I hated about this game the first time through. You can be doing perfectly fine in combat, and then like nothing an enemy will grab you, do a choppy animation, and bam, you're dead despite having even 80%+ health left. I'd argue enemy level scaling is a problem too, because all around Whiterun and Riverwood I was thinking it's way too easy, one-shotting every enemy unless I intentionally handicap myself using the bow or magic. Now, 3 inches out of the starting area, the turns tabled and I'm the one getting oneshot by comedically strong grab attacks that only ever proc on random when you're the one trying to do it, and bumping the difficulty from adept to expert seems a mistake.
