We headed out to the Elephant Eagle Mine and spent a couple hours exploring some of its tunnels. This mine, like others in the area, featured dangerous sections of false floors in large sections of the tunnels. The false floors in this mine were suspended over a chasm that was a couple hundred feet deep. We also found a large wooden rack loaded with bags of ore samples from the 1980s.
