Weirdly, compared to past games I've played in this vein... The resolution might be empty but the journey was just engaging enough to leave me feeling fulfilled. Mind you, this also comes down to the character work done throughout this case, and the events that come afterwards, but I have to say that I overall enjoyed this case, despite its flaws.

Although I'll admit I didn't understand the point of the ending referring to the true culprit? Any ideas what happened there? Are we meant to believe that Mary didn't actually do it, after all this? If I hadn't been more focused on the conclusion to Athena and Apollo's arc, I probably would've been angrier about this point. Because if it wasn't actually Mary, then what was the point of Mary's role in all this?

I did enjoy Mary's role in this, specifically as a foil to Athena. Though I do wish that her role had been built up more alongside Athena's. She just kinda had one vague event as a cop teasing something going on and then got accused of murder by Apollo, where her arc went into overdrive. But it could've worked with more buildup. Mary was always on the side of law and order and justice, crossing that line in the worst way and getting involved in a murder. And Athena in many ways is her foil? Bending and twisting the law to meet her goals, but ultimately had no reason to be involved with this crime? You could say possibly more accurately that this whole plot was Mary potentially starting down the road to becoming someone like Athena.

So if Mary had been given more time to develop in this plot, it would fill in the holes with the story. Unfortunately it was All Athena. Which is never a bad thing, given this Athena, but unfortunately left a few holes in the case we can't ignore. I like it, but it could be better with some tweaks.
