In March of 2020 I had a 1 death run of The End Is Nigh, and decided to let it go and put the game down for a while. I always felt like I had been super close and just gave up, so I decided to go for Iron God again, but wanted to make the run spicier for the fun of it. Just to finally conquer this thing and put this game down for good.

So I decided to clear intro cart before every attempt of Iron God, stringing them both together into one run. Additionally, I decided I would try and talk to every npc in the future at least once. The npc in acceptance 1 will kill you if you try to speak to him, so getting all future% dialogue in the same run as iron god requires playing through acceptance twice and dying to the npc as you talk to him, which I've done here. I also made sure not to use any pause buffering or quit to menu strats. And just to make the run more annoying for no reason, decided not to skip any cutscenes I encountered to arbitrarily fluff the length of the run.

Probably my favorite platformer ever, and I have mixed feelings about being done. I guess it's time to finally move on, but I enjoyed the journey while it lasted.
