40I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite ending on the Citadel.
Mass Effect 2 is the rare example of a sequel that fires on all cylinders. It raises the stakes and provides a introspective character driven narrative where all of your choices culminate in the endgame, the Suicide Mission. I want to talk about why to this day, the ending of Mass Effect 2 still gives me chills.
From the cinematics, to the lethality of the final mission, to the soundtrack, the end of Mass Effect 2 lays all out there. While Mass Effect 3 expands upon the reflection of player choice in the narrative, Mass Effect 2 holds it own and up until the very end you'll be on the edge of your seat hoping you built the biggest and baddest team out there.
