My first Sonic game and probably still my favorite, Sonic 2 took the formula of the first game and added the fabeled BLAST PROCESSING, which basically means "sonik go fast now". And it kicks off with the awesome Emerald Hill, the brighter & richer cousin of Green Hill. The first of the two Hill's in this game, its pretty straightforward but offers a fun time running to its jaunty tune. "Splash Hill ain't got nothin' on me!"

For those following this run, I've decided to change the format up a bit. Instead of recording zones with the special stages, I will go through the game straight through, and then go through it a second time and record the special stages, putting them all in one video. I'm still going to have the best ending though, so the score/life count won't be consistent. All of this is simply easier to record and quicker to render, making the videos shorter overall. Also I'll be adding general descriptions to the old and new videos like I did for this one. Good watchings~

(Also on this new format thing... I see what they were trying to do but it really isn't necessary. The only o.k. thing so far is that the related videos is tighter near the video. But still....bleh.... )
