The European Space Agency Open Day At ESTEC - Part 1
I spent the whole weekend at ESA's ESTEC facility in the Netherlands, one of Europe's primary space technology design and development facilities. While I was there to present and talk to the public I spent a great deal of time running around trying to cover the historic hardware on display and talking with hundreds of space fans who'd travelled from all over the world to be there.
This should be the first of a few installments, featuring the Apollo Astronauts doing VIP things, the Solar Orbiter mission due to launch next year and a piece of test hardware from Europe's 'Space Plane' - the IXV.
Thanks to ESA for helping me come to this amazing event!
