The Evil Within 2 | Classic Mode - Save 1/7 (Ch. 1-4) [No Commentary]
4In this playthrough I ususally don't explore the areas in search for resources and instead just focus on the main objectives. This leads to me not having a lot of resources/ammo. But as you can see throughout the playthrough, the resources I do collect are enough.
I also collect some keys that are easily obtainable - without risk of dying. However, I end up not using a single one.
Chapters 1-2:
- I wish there was a single autosave after chapter 2
- It is extremely tedious to replay the intro (which take 20 minutes!) which I unfortunately had to do because game crashed a few times in chapter 3
- After meeting your first Lost in the house, you can turn around and run out while watching out the other Lost outside
Chapter 3:
- I avoid getting the Sawed-off shotgun from The Marrow: Armory in the basement of 322 Cedar Ave.. It is unnecessarily risky to do and not needed until later
- Instead, I pick it up in the warehouse later
- First, head towards the Warden Crossbow
- From the Warden Crossbow, go straight into the direction of Lily's signal. We will come across the warehouse to our right
- On the way to the warehouse, pick up an axe and nails
- Use stealth (when possible) to clear the front of the warehouse and prepare the yellow cart for the escape before continuing following the signal. Also, make sure to pick up an axe in case you do not have one anymore
- On your way to the signal, use one of your acquired shock bolts to open the door which is needed for chapter 4 - you do not need to kill the enemy inside
- After receiving the new signal for Lily, exit the Pit Stop to the right in order to avoid triggering the Spawns
- Make sure you take the Sawed-off shotgun in the warehouse
- When exiting the warehouse, have one shock bolt ready to stun two (or if you are lucky all three) Spawns and escape to O'Neil's Safehouse using the yellow cart we prepared
Chapter 4:
- After deactivating the emergency lockdown, climb up the ladder until one hand grabs the third (from the top) horizontal bar of the ladder so you don't have to engange with any of the enemies
- You don't have to kill the two enemies in the sewage
- Save #1 (Saves remaining: 6)
