The Fabulous Wanda on C64 (Rob's Retro Rambles)
Playing The Fabulous Wanda (and the secret of life, the universe and everything, to give it its full title) on the C64 (well, ok a C128, but it's in '64 mode) for the very first time.
I *did* try some years back but the tape wouldn't load - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Co6jZHsFeZI
Maybe it was trying to save me but now I have a TapeCartSD (thanks to Steve Benway's video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZnQW1kmLV0 ) there's no stopping me this time. Yes, I paid £15 plus postage in order to finally play this, curiosity is a TERRIBLE thing. That said, if it sold for £7.95 in '83, that's apparently worth a little over 23 quid now so I'm still quids in compared to anyone who bought this at the time and I still have the chance of loading some other tape files I couldn't load before so it's not a total loss...

Some people have said I should set up a tip jar, to help with cost of repairs and the like. As I can't really offer anything other than thanks I don't feel Patreon is particularly suitable, so I've set up this - https://ko-fi.com/gigerpunk
Absolutely no obligation, I'm not doing any content just for people who pay and not doing adverts of any kind, it's just there for those who'd like to help out occasionally.
