1Continuing almost immediately after the manga leaves off, Umbrella's End and Dark Legacy detail the final moments of the Umbrella Corporation. Having been dealt a massive blow during the viral outbreak of '98 (RE 0-3), Umbrella was forced to restructure and scramble to keep itself from being totally ruined by US and international interests. To that end, the company decentralizes its physical assets, ferreting away BOW creatures and research in hidden bunkers all over the world. This makes necessary the use of private BOW hunting organizations such as Chris and Jill's to locate these caches, which is the story of Umbrella's End. Dark Legacy follows Wesker as he infiltrates this same warehouse, seeking one of Umbrella's greatest commanders and the guardian of the Red Queen supercomputer, Sergei Vladimir. With the Red Queen, and all the data from the Raccoon City incident it holds, Wesker will be able to initiate his plan to create a new world order.
