He first appears in the strip club in the Nova Esperança favela. Max Payne finds him hiding under a bed, only with a shirt and a short. Dave recognizes Max as an American, and comments he has gone to the favela for five years to taste the "cheapest pussy in the world". Max expresses his disgust, to which Dave replies it's all legal. Dave then runs from the club, having Max wishing him a nice day and calling him a creepy. Alternatively, Max can kill him before meeting him, but he will not appear in the future chapter of A Fat Bald Dude with a Bad Temper.
If he was not killed earlier, Max meets him again locked in a cell in the UFE station. Dave asks Max his help, but Max recognizes him from the strip club, and Dave deduces Max won't help him, which Max confirms, saying that "he got what he deserved". Dave can be killed afterwards.
