The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy es un videojuego de plataformas de 1991 de Taito para Nintendo Entertainment System y basado en la serie animada Los Picapiedras. Más tarde, Taito lanzaría otro juego de Los Picapiedras para NES titulado The Flintstones: The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak en 1994.
El juego está precedido por una breve escena que prepara el escenario. Un hombre del siglo XXX llamado Dr. Butler secuestra a la mascota de Pedro Picapiedra, Dino, y a la mascota de Pablo, Hoppy. El amigo extraterrestre de Pedro, el Gran Gazú, perdió partes de su máquina del tiempo debido al Dr. Butler. El Gran Gazú solo es visible para Pedro y para nadie más (un ligero cambio con respecto a la serie donde Pablo, Pebbles y Bam-Bam también podían verlo).
Con cada etapa que Pedro completa, recupera otra pieza de la máquina del tiempo, y Gazú une las piezas progresivamente. A lo largo de las etapas, Pedro se encuentra con Vilma, Pablo, Betty y Súper Sónico en la etapa futura. Pedro tiene que derrotar a un jefe en cada etapa. Al final del mapa, obtiene la última pieza y viaja al futuro, donde tiene que derrotar al Dr. Butler.2

The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy is a 1991 platform video game by Taito for the Nintendo Entertainment System and based on the animated series The Flintstones. Taito would later release another Flintstones game for the NES titled The Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak in 1994.
The gameplay is preceded by a short cutscene which sets the stage. A man from the 30th century named Dr. Butler kidnaps Fred Flintstone's pet Dino and Barney's pet Hoppy. Fred's alien friend, The Great Gazoo, lost parts of his time machine due to Dr. Butler. The Great Gazoo is visible only to Fred and to nobody else (a slight change from the series where Barney, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm could also see him).
With each stage Fred completes, he earns back another piece of the time machine, and Gazoo welds together the pieces progressively. Throughout the stages, Fred runs into Wilma, Barney, Betty, as well as George Jetson in the future stage. Fred has to defeat a boss at each stage. At the end of the map, he gets the last piece and travels to the future, where he has to defeat Dr. Butler.[2]
