The Ford 7.3L Godzilla V8: Surprisingly Easy to Work On! (F350 Super Duty)
183Today I'm fixing a squeaking squealing sound coming from the front belt and pulley area and replacing the spark plugs to fix a slight hesitation and miss on my 2020 F-350 Super Duty. This is the easiest engine I've worked on in years, even being a neglected truck! The Ford 7.3L gas engine found in these new Super Duty trucks is a basic engine with nothing special, just cubic inches paired to a 10-speed transmission. It's exactly what we wanted - big cubes and reliability! Who would've thought the bare bones basic pushrod V8 would be so easy? (of course it is!)
