The Geekwave Episode 72: Interview with Justice.exe!
1Hey everyone! It's the first week of April, and we're starting the month of with a bang! On this week's episode you can watch Lee and Logan, with our guests Joe and Suresh as they talk about Big Data, Machine Learning Algorithms, and their Game Justice.exe.
Logan and Joe are part of an Honor's Praxis Lab, in which they are working on the project Justice.exe, which explores how machine learning algorithms interact with the justice system. Their professor, Suresh talks about the Black Box, which refers to when you give an algorithm a goal which it achieves, but you have no clue how it will arrive at those decisions. Can you imagine asking an AI to deliver you some eggs and milk from the grocery store, and having it steal the items instead of purchasing them? That's a possibility with a Black Box.
