Fashion trends, music, hair styles, plays, and books have all historically been a part of pop culture that have connected humanity. In modern times, pop culture has expanded to include T.V. shows, films, podcasts, role playing games, and card games (to mention only a few). As such, Geekwave strives to make connections between all of you who consider yourselves “Geeks”: those of you who love all things pop culture and the media and hobbies that make you human. The Geekwave is a student media platform at the University of Utah. Created in 2016 by Jarom Norris as a radio show for K-Ute Radio it gained enough steam to push forward and become its very own platform!
