In 1999 there were a series of reports from viewers of Channel 6 about an image of a woman flashing randomly on normal broadcasting.
It was later discovered that the woman in those images was Mia Buxton, one of the many victims of now convicted serial killer Paul Teron. Channel 6 never officially acknowledged the incident ,however a number of people started to come up with rituals and "games" to summon Mia Buxton...
