In today's video we'll be looking at the history of the bloodiest battle in history - the battle of Stalingrad - the backdrop to COD WAW's classic sniper level Vendetta. From the wider origins of the battle to the details of exactly what happened on ground the day this level is set (17th September 1942) in Stalingrad.

Featuring the Red Army's most prolific sniper Vasily Zaitsev, the encirclement and destruction of the 6th Army and everyone's favourite battle-hardened Russian, Viktor Reznov.
