The History of Flash Games
In the 2000's, if you wanted to play a free game on your computer that wasn’t minesweeper, you pretty much had to turn to flash games. Through major flash games sites like Newgrounds, Addictinggames, and Kongregate, browser games took over the world in such a short period of time, became a billion-dollar industry, and in just as short of a time, it vanished entirely. I wanted to do a video talking about why flash games became so popular, highlight some of the best flash games made, and explain why they are about to be extinct (if not for the help of BlueMaxima's FlashPoint). I present to you, the history of flash games.
