Meet Pat Quinn, the co-founder of the "Ice Bucket Challenge", a fighter living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and the main reason why the ALS Association raised over $100M in a single month to fight this terrible disease. Diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) on March 8, 2013, Pat's life dramatically changed from being a star athlete to now not being able to tie his own sneakers. While some might let the disease win, Pat has been an inspiration to millions by refusing to give up the fight until a cure is found. Please join us in Autumn Tech Talk to hear Pat's amazing story of perseverance to beat ALS for himself and thousands of others.
