Gareth sat atop a footlocker, he had been fighting for many hours and many more years. He had saved his people before they rejected him, started a new family and watched as it grew and now he would return to secure their future. He had remained in hiding until he had heard news that a new army had occupied the wasteland killing his children. The walls of the small room were covered with ash and goo from the many Enclave soldiers he had funneled inside so that they could die. In the room with the Vault Dweller was a scientist who thought that they were hidden. Gareth knew exactly where they were however but they were no longer a threat as they had fired all 16 shots they had in their plasma pistol into Gareth's breastplate and were simply hiding from him at this point. The Vault Dweller made sure to seal the room upon entry by shooting the door panel. Now he was alone with the scientist and very soon he would be dead, he could feel the blood filling his suit as the many wounds he accrued from the hours of battle went untreated.
This was alright with the Dweller as he was now a man of at least 100 years, it was time for his story to end...

Sam limped towards New Reno, he had to spend all but one of his bullets on Geckos that attacked him an hour before. He had gained the info he needed for Ian and he had hoped that it would be enough to tell him of the run in with the armored soldiers. Ian was waiting for the Ambassador outside of New Reno
"Hey there Snake"
"Ian...its no good they're not going to cooperate"
"Yeah thats a shame...I guess that means you're fired"
Sam cocked his head in confusion and rested his had on his revolver
"I don't think you can do that Ian"
"well..."
The two men quickly drew their weapons and fired, missing their marks.
Ian was aiming for Sam's chest however the recoil of the submachine gun pushed his aim off course spraying bullets over the gunslingers shoulder.
Sam was aiming for the the old man's gun hand but missed and hit his bosses face instead splattering his brains across the yellow sand.
"well...I guess I'm a murderer now"
Sam looked down and the smoking gun with tears rolling down his cheeks
"I had hoped that wouldn't happen"
The man then turned to the north and began his long walk to the town of Arroyo.

Arya sat at the helm of the ship and for the first time in years began to actually relax. First she removed her helmet, then the pauldrons and after that she unzipped her jumpsuit. She laughed when she saw the burns, holes and cuts on her chest before pushing another Stimpak into her arm flooding her veins with the healing elixir that closed her bloody wounds. She didn't notice the village elder staring at her from the staircase in terror, her brain was so clouded by adrenaline and the drugs that she never took the time to check on the people she had fought so hard to save, she attempted to fix her hair but instead removed clumps of red hair from her bruised head. Arya laughed again, hot tears running down her cheeks as she realized that the radiation poisoning was getting worse. The Chosen One for the first time since she left Arroyo she spoke
"Mom...I did it, I saved everyone"
The elder then embraced her daughter for the first time.
