The Infinite Monkey Theorem

The infinite monkey theorem states, that a monkey hitting keys at random on a keyboard for an infinite amount of time will type any given text, including the complete works of William Shakespeare. Students from the University of Plymouth Media Lab Arts course did this experiment with real monkeys in 2002. The monkeys produced only five total pages, and the pages were pretty much filled with the letter "S". One male monkey began striking the keyboard with a stone, and other monkeys urinated and defecated on the machine.
