626HasanAbi reacts to The Kombucha Billionaire Looking To Save The Industry From Itself | Forbes by @Forbes. GT Dave is the founder of GT's Living Foods, a business with ~ $275 million in sales. HasanAbi can't really read what kind of person the "Kombucha King" is. Overall HasanAbi thinks Forbes might have portrait the Kombucha Billionaire worse than he actually is!
I just read through the comments on the OG video and @3GTDave commented on it, so I feel like I have to copy it here for claritiy, because HasanAbi's feeling was not wrong:

Hi Everyone! As much as I am entertained from all these comments I would like to clarify some things from the incredibly CREEPY video that Forbes did on me:
1) This video was all art directed by Forbes. The music, the weird pacing, the bunny cuddling, the bad make-up, the driving of the Lamborghini and the clothes were ALL by direction of the Forbes team. I trusted them and their vision. Lesson learned.
2) I never claimed to have INVENTED Kombucha. The question I was asked was when did “bottled” Kombucha first began so my response was BOTTLED kombucha did not exist until I started in 1995.
3) “Humble beginnings”: I’m well aware of my background and it’s far from humble: I’m white, male and from LA. What I was referring to was how I started my company: I was a high school drop out, I had no investors, health food was not popular in the 90’s, and technology was in its early stages. Therefore I was a one-man, boot-strapped show which is uncommon in today’s world where everything has PE money backing it.
4) Sai Baba: there have been several reincarnations of this guru over the many centuries. However Sathya Sai Baba was the one who my parents took me too. He passed around 2010. (See Inc Magazine for a photo of me as a child.)
5) My “materialistic” lifestyle; I’m not going to deny that I love beautiful art, architecture and design.... and honestly I pride myself on being a unique blend of organic and “hippie-dippie” through my vegan diet, fermented-tea drinking ways, and unconventional spiritual beliefs.... BUT who says that all people who care about their health and the planet MUST have pony-tails, wear patchouli, live in tree houses and drive a Prius. So to those that were turned off by the video I say “I don’t blame you! But also, don’t be so quick to hate someone you have never met”. And to those that can see past this wannabe American Psycho video that clearly was designed to get clicks, I say “Thank you for trusting that my product truly is a labor of love and that I am genuinely trying to share a special thing that touched my Family’s life and hopefully has improved the lives of others who drink it”.
