This tower defense x beat 'em up has actually done an excellent of blending features and gameplay of both. Some levels you can focus on one game type or the other, but there are enemies that would be rage inducing if not outright unfair if it was just one genre or the other. Well done

The cute dogs that you can pet whenever you want is just icing on the cake.

Sadly I've also encounter numerous bugs - some significantly more frustrating than others - and poor controls with no built in means of reconciling the issues.
