Unsurprisingly, I had some more thoughts after making this video. I think the reason why I got irritated at many of the combat scenes when playing was because I was subconsciously trying to rush the game. All my other games were on hold while I played this, and I wanted to hurry back to them so I wasn't so far behind. This caused me to want to rush through all combat encounters, and not take the time to appreciate each combat scene for its individuality, its complexity. If I had knowingly changed my mindset prior to the game, I think this playthrough wouldn't have been so frustrating for me.
