The Last of Us Part 1 Steam Deck
On this video, we are testing how The Last of Us Part 1 plays on the Steam Deck. The verdict, it actually plays very well and is super fun to play on the Steam Deck. If you would like to gain 2-8 FPS, to stay above 30 FPS most of the time, play this game on FSR Performance or Ultra-Performance, and it will barely affect the way the game looks.
00:00 Title screen.
00:13 Graphical settings.
00:36 Start of Gameplay, fighting infected and my first Clicker.
01:25 End of my commentary.
02:09 Cutscene. You can't deny that view!!!.
03:08 Start of gameplay, fighting FEDRA soldiers.
04:37 Cutscene, don't bring up Tes... EVER!
05:53 Start of gameplay, 1, 2, 3 clickers.
Note that we captured the video using an elgato HD60X external capture card which would upscale the 1280X800 native Steam Deck video to 1080p. This upscaling also created some black bars on the sides to keep the correct aspect ratio of the video. Additionally, any choppiness on the video where you do not see a slowdown on the FPS, was most likely caused by the video capture card and not the gameplay itself. The Steam Deck was docked on a JSAUX dock during this capture, but we still used the Steam Deck controls to play the game.
