I kinda like the zombie theme, because not because its overdone but because I like zombie games, even thought they tend to be a little fantastical. Like the last one I played was telltale's the walking dead. This one is a little better, I infact cant think of any other zombie games I enjoyed besides for maybe dreamcast's zombie revenge and house of the dead 2. Never played D2 but wanted too after playing the demo. Liked resident evil code veronica. Liked Resident evil 2 on ps1. Played some of Alone in the Dark for PC dos before, and the one for Dreamcast (although thats more like a spectre horror thing). Like dead trigger 1&2 for iOS it plays like arcade fps, like age of z and into the dead, ios has good zombie games apparently. Want to play through em but dont have the time. Enjoyed Deadlight, deadspace and Dead island as well on 360. I avoided the cod 2 zombie series though, I have dead nation but still have to play that. Because of their repetitive nature as an unanimate being that doesn't breath oxygen etc, I have a love hate relationship with the zombie theme. The last of us changes that, giving a look inside what an (alien asteroid?) fungus can do to its host.
