As the hours draw near for the last Splatfest to close, we are reminded of the things we will never see again in Splatoon 2. We will no longer hear Color Pulse in Inking Square and we will no longer see our Splatoon friends and loved characters dancing to the iconic music we've grown to love over Splatoon 2's Splatfest runs.

We will no longer wait through Pearl and Marina's newscast and announcements of the next upcoming Splatfests and we will no longer have to bite our nails and squid flop around picking our Splatfest teams. We will no longer ask our friends and community what sides they have picked and no longer have to wonder if we'll get a win on a 10x or 100x battle.

No longer will we see our faces on the display after winning an epic battle against the enemy team, because there is no more enemy team to fight against. Just everyday players enjoying the game, hoping to get their next splat with a new weapon, new gear or redesigned ability chunks.

This is the Final Fest, and we will have to say goodbye to Splatoon 2's Splatfests.

Splatoon 3, we await your first Splatfest, happily.
