Surely this information will be important later.
And with that, Trails into Reverie is completed in 192 hours (according to steam) in 50 streams. Pretty sure that's the longest playthrough so far.

Let's get scoring:
Gameplay: 8/10
Like how CS4 was a slight iteration on CS3, Reverie is a slight iteration on CS4, adding in a new mechanic that definitely gives the player an edge. United Fronts are broken, which probably justified them in make Abyss mode, which is nightmare difficulty plus enemies has 3x speed instead of 1.2x. It's nuts but is good for making you find the ways to break the game, which completely trivializes the game on easier difficulties. There are also a lot of minigames of varying types. I have to give Project Tyrfing a pass because I was dumb and didn't know about the "sprint" mechanic until the final moments.

Visuals: 8/10
The game still looks good, I realized I didn't have a Visuals section for my Cold Steel 4 review... oh well. They have a few scenes with mo-cap tech, I think, where the fidelity of the animation gets bumped up. Hopefully we'll see it much more frequently, because although it is nice, it is jarring at first when it happens.

Sound: 8/10
Lots of good music here with one song that peters into un-liked territory for the dissonance is gives off. I'll be honest though, the Reverie Corridor battle theme is my favorite song in the game. No other songs gave me that "awesome" feeling like it.

Story: 8/10
Tying up some loose ends is the name of the plot. I like what they did with giving more meaning to CS4's ending. The overarching narrative here feels a bit "filler-y," but there is some character growth that make the story worth it.

Endgame:
If you are crazy, they have the option of starting NG+ on Abyss mode and then bumping the enemy levels up by 100. Going for a true maxed Abyss run would be a true test of patience, but I'm sure someone has done it.

Overall: 8/10
A solid score and a nice epilogue/send off for the first major overarching arc of the series from Sky to here. I give it a recommendation so long as you are caught up in the series.

Moving on from this series for now, I heard Triangle Strategy has some extra content now...
