I decided in the middle of 2024 that I wanted to go back and play through the entire Zelda series. As it evolved and I did a 100% playthrough of The Wind Waker, I decided that I finally wanted to 100% most of the mainline games in the series. So, the Year of Zelda was born. I will be going through all the games and using guides and friends in the chat to 100% the games as best I can. Some people might think I will miss some things, but these are going to be my 100% playthroughs. I will also be playing them in release order.

The two NES games down, time to start playing some better games in the series. A Link to the Past is considered one of the best in the series and a classic video game. The SNES was the only Nintendo console I never owned growing up. And every day, it is the only gaming regret I have personally (even though it wasn't entirely my fault). I have gone back and played a lot of games on the consoles that are considered amazing and this was one of those. This game set the standard for the Zelda Formula for many years until Breath of the Wild changed it nearly 30 years later. It set in motion the major story beats the series would be known for decades. And I am super excited to finally 100% this game and find all the secrets this game has to offer.
