ππ Content Overview ππ
Nintendo developed and released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, an open world action-adventure game for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. Players are given little instruction and are allowed to explore the open world, similar to the original 1986 The Legend of Zelda game. Collecting various things and gear to aid in objectives such as puzzle-solving or side quests is one of the tasks. The universe is unstructured, encouraging exploration and experimentation, and the main storey objective can be performed in any order.
Breath of the Wild is an open world game in which players take control of Link and explore the realm of Hyrule. The lack of defined entrances or exits to places, limited guidance given to the player, and encouragement to wander freely all contribute to Breath of the Wild's nonlinear gameplay. Breath of the Wild is the first game in the Zelda series to include a consistent physics engine, allowing players to approach issues in a variety of ways rather than trying to find a single solution. A "chemical engine" is also included in the game, which determines the physical qualities of most items and controls how they interact with the player and each other.
Breath of the Wild takes place in the kingdom of Hyrule at the end of the Zelda storyline. The ancient Sheikah race had built Hyrule into an advanced civilisation 10,000 years before the game began, protected by four huge animalistic robots known as the Divine Beasts and an army of autonomous weaponry known as Guardians. When the wicked Calamity Ganon came and attacked Hyrule, four great warriors were named Champions, and each piloted one of the Divine Beasts to weaken Ganon, while the princess with the goddess's blood and her designated knight fought and vanquished him by sealing him away.
