The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (Part 37)-vs. Onox, the General of Darkness
3After planting and harvesting, our hero finally gets the final Heart Piece. With a full set of health, our hero makes his way to the unexplored peak of Holodrum, where Onox awaits. The Maku Seed assists our hero in penetrating the fortress and after taking care of the security, our hero clashes with the General, but not before Onox proclaims that no matter what happens, the recently abducted Zelda will never return!
*Boss: Onox
There are three phases to this battle. The first is just standard slashes. However, Onox's armor protects him from simple slashes; charge up your Spin Attack to deal damage. During the second phase, Onox hides behind the jewel containing Din; if our hero slashes that, he will receive the damage. Equip the Rod of Seasons to bat her away and aim for the dastardly general. In these two phases, Onox attacks with his ball-and-chain, stomping on the ground to cause a rock slide, and summoning whirlwinds to blow our hero away. Once he's exterminated, our hero takes pause...before the ground gives away!
Once our hero lands, the evil general reveals his final form: a gigantic dragon. This form has the general floating just above our hero and attempting to grab him with his claws. Wait for him to grab dirt then jump on his outstretched hand. When he lifts you to elbow level, slash at the jewel on his forehead. His other attacks include a sweeping slash and a barrage of fireballs. Once defeated, the general screams that it doesn't matter, as the revival of Ganon is imminent. With Din freed, she and Nayru open the way to Twinrova's hideout. The final battle is soon to begin...
