At the end of all things, is a stupidly short, anticlimactic end to a decently fun adventure. The fastest 24 hour race we've ever played. Wind waker's a phenomenal game, that while too easy at times, manages to capture the rawest, purest feeling of adventure out of any zelda. The sailing, the side quests, the dungeons, the items, the individual islands. It reminded me of why I used to love zelda so much until my hatred for botw blinded me. Even the story is great, the lore is extremely fun and strange as usual and this has my favorite version of ganon as well. It doesn't have the best dungeons in the series, the combat is far too easy but did advance the mechanics to be more fun. Fix up the damage taken and it'd be perfect. As for those individual islands, just compare them to the lifeless, completely reused, inorganic shrines from botw. Each islands unique and feels completely integrated into the world. Sailing always feels like a purposeful journey with mini adventures on the way, and tantalizing, inaccessible islands you excitedly wait to be able to access with cool new dungeon items. It's a wonderful game I feel I could recommend to literally anyone.

All items are randomized, but because Wind Waker is such a large game, a single run of it would take a very long time if you had to check every single location. Therefore the randomizer has options to limit where progress items can appear based on the type of the location.
