Playthrough Part 14 – More Exploring through Hyrule
We got more exploring to do. Here's the lowdown.
Part of this quest requires us to repair the bridge that leads to Hyrule Castle Town on the East Side. You need to donate a lot of rupees for it. First you need 1000 Rupees. That's the easy part. But then comes the next part. Once the bridge is rebuilt, then you are required to donate 2,000 rupees. But it can be reduced very easily. Speak to Gor Liggs outside Malo Mart. Then you need to take some Hot Spring Water and give it to the young Goron. Once you target him and then toss the barrel, he will be rejuvenated. He'll roll with some Hot Spring Water and you get a Heart Piece.
Return back to Kakariko Village. Head to Malo Mart and then you find that the donations are reduced from 2000 to 200. Donate 200 rupees and you're set. Head next to Hyrule Castle Town and in the center of Town, you find that Malo Mart is open. It's also here where you can get a special item: the Magic Armor. You need 598 Rupees for that. We'll get it later but the point is this: Magic Armor makes Link invincible, as long as you have Rupees. Wearing it makes you lose Rupees but getting hit takes a hit on your wallet. AND it gets worse. Have no Rupees and this thing is heavy as hell. It's recommended to use the Magic Armor once you get your hands on a certain item. That happens much later.
We also take part in a few other mini games so we can get more Heart Pieces and finding Poes. Remember, you can only find them either at night or in dungeons. Just a heads up.
With our work finished, Part 15 continues the journey. We're off to the Gerudo Desert.
