The Legendary Starfy (GBA) - Part 2
A very special thanks to "Evie's Obscure Stuff for Fair Use or Playthrough" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFZsTqNU7kDQw6ikEzCAXpw) and their friends for making this fan translation so I can be able to understand what's going on, outside of the graphics.
I decided to start a playthrough of a game that I've started playing a few days ago and wanted to upload a new playthrough on YouTube, since there are no playthroughs of this game that are 60fps.
Today I'll be defeating Konk and healing a whale's stomach. I actually uploaded this on June 30, but because it's about 25 minutes (I don't remember the full length), it's taking until today, July 1.
The Legendary Starfy/"Densetsu no Stafy" is a marine platformer that was released in 2002 for the GBA only in Japan. It is the first of five games in the series, the first three being for the GBA and the last two being for the DS. The last one was the only one released outside Japan officially, namely in North America and Australasia (a region containing Australia, New Zealand, and some other islands in the area).
The game's story is about the titular Starfy, the prince of a cloudy kingdom in the sky called Pufftop. He was moving some important stuff around the palace when his clumsiness got the best of him and dropped the stuff on the ground, with a special vase falling off the kingdom. A thunderstorm then occurs and knocks him down to the ocean. Now he has to journey to find the vase and return to Pufftop with it.
"Densetsu no Stafy"/The Legendary Starfy, the series, its music, and other attributes are owned by Nintendo and TOSE. This playthrough is made my myself in recorded footage made the same day this video was uploaded.
