Pokemon Puzzle League speedruns in the 1P Stadium mode have a lot of RNG or luck in them. Sometimes you get good luck, and other times it's bad. The AI in this game has a knack of wasting lots of time doing random matches, combos, and chains to extend fights longer than they need to be. Sometimes this happens on a really good run like what happened here, and there's nothing you can do about it. Tough game!
