The Lord Imperatant is bringing all of Sigmar's swag!
While my tabletop allegiance errs more with the reptiles than any of Sigmar's chosen, there is no denying that the god was firing on all cylinders when he designed the armor of his heroes.
Joining the ranks of equally blinged out Stormcast lords, the Lord Imperatant really has a nice look to him.
Nowhere near as bulky as his predecessors, his armor is still large and imposing. He could easily fulfill a lot of tabletop roles in games outside of Warhammer based on his attire too. He'd make just as good of paladin or cleric as he would some sort of battlemage or royal advisor- type.
I feel his pushfit construction isn't as sturdy as some of the other Dominion models I've got my claws on, but that's easily fixed with a few dabs of glue- I'm going to be painting chunks as it is to help make sure I hit all the spots on him prior to finishing putting him together.
As of the moment I filmed this, the only way to get him is in the big Age of Sigmar starter sets. He's not in the entry level one, so expect to sell out the equivalent of $100 US for a set including him.
Or shop around online like I did and grab him for a tenth of the price, which was much more palatable for a hero model
