Warcaster- Paladin Siegebreaker and friends!
46I snapped up a few Warcaster models at a recent shop and swap day at a local store, and was quite happy to have gotten a Paladin Siegebreaker. It was one of the models I was most looking forward to when the kickstarters were running.
About the size of a typical heavy infantry unit for a variety of tabletop games, the Siegebreaker is a walking one man arsenal.
I keep thinking of the power armor in the Starship Troopers novel or the Glitter Boys from Rifts when I see him. It probably brings back those adolescent power fantasy stories I grew up with.
His friends are nice, and I'm surprised the Witch Hunters actually are all unique poses. That was a plus.
Hopefully I'll get him started soon and that'll get me to finish off the Bakunin Taskmaster who is currently in the running for longest neglected model on my painting table.
While I may build up a Warcaster force, more than likely these models will end up getting used in something like Stargrave or 5 Parsecs from Home if we see it arrive in the US soon...
