5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called [c]Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth
Three falls of humanity and the judgement of wrath brought upon them.
Dt 32:23 ‘I will heap disasters on them;
I will spend My arrows on them.
24 They shall be wasted with hunger,
Devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction;
I will also send against them the teeth of beasts,
With the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword shall destroy outside;
There shall be terror within
But what of the "elohim" and "nephilim"? Were there angelic and demonic forces at work possessing and oppressing, freeing and restoring the old testament Jewish people?
What would have been the first and second temple Jews understanding of the supernatural realm or didn't they have any? Not much is said in the Old Testament and little if any is taught now in the church about it.
