The luckiest online race of all time
58How many online races have you had where absolutely nothing happened, you led flag to flag, and never got hit with an item? Well, I just had this one. See that green shell I picked up in the first sector? It's the same I threw away at the finish line. Even the SHELL survived the whole race. It's pretty telling when the replay maker can't find anything (and I do mean ANYTHING) but me taking random turns. It's especially awesome considering I wasn't up against scrubs - most of the people in that room had higher ratings than me, and were probably more skilled at the game too. Boring? Yes, but how often does that kind of domination happened to YOU when playing against humans that aren't total scrubs?
There are two turns in Big Blue that you can completely bypass if you take them the right way. I was hoping you could see both in the replay... at least it caught the one near the end. Too bad the camera angle doesn't really do it justice.
