Japanese label visvim has just released this video that highlights the making of its Summit Papoose Stripe backpack from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Using wooden looms, they were able to achieve a woven fabric that was both rich in texture and unique in its finish. Taking us behind the scenes of a textile manufacturing factory in Como, Italy, we get a glimpse at the vast amount of fabrics being stored at the facility as well as the machinery and technologies that make it possible to produce the high-quality goods that visvim has become known for. Watch the video above to see for yourselves.
