Yellow Vest protesters took to the streets in Paris on Saturday to denounce French President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies and demand higher wages in the face of massive inflation. Footage shows demonstrators marching, scuffles with riot police, and tear gas being sprayed. "We held assemblies with real citizens to promote ideas because we didn't just contest; we provided solutions, things that people would like, but they (the government) don't want them because Emmanuel Macron doesn't want to discuss them. Today, four years later, nothing has changed, everything has worsened," Faouzi Lellouche, one of the protesters, said. Yellow Vest protesters were also seen holding banners reading 'Climate emergency and social peace', 'Macron, Resignation', and 'Macron and the CAC 40 want war. Let's fight'.
