I got to play around with the new open world update that is currently in testing.

Open world involves auto-completing a lot of puzzles and overworld gates such as boulders pushed into place and tree chopped down. This give you much more freedom to explore early without the use of items and makes navigating dungeons much easier with warps activated.

Open fusions considers all minor kinstone fusions as already complete, so it opens up a ton of chests and item caves all over the world.

Rupee mania puts all of the free standing rupees into the item pool, greatly increasing the amount of checks available.

Obscure locations are locations that contain a hidden item. These include digging spots, underwater items, and items inside pots.

Damaging items seen as weapons allows items such as bombs and the bow to be considered for combat. The main change is that it allows the first sword to be found deeper into the seed.
