The Missing Page | One Minute Scary Stories
21If you’ve ever needed to look up a businesses phone number then I’m sure you’ve heard of the Yellow Pages. On this particular day I was looking for a plumber I noticed a phone number on the 2nd to last page but it struck me as odd since it didn’t have a business name or anything. Curiosity got the best of me so I dialed the strange number. “Hello, you’ve reached the Final Destination, proceed at your own caution, this is a recorded line, press 1 or stay on the line for more information.” After this phone call strange things started to occur in my home such as: knocking on the door at night and high pitched drilling noises coming from seemingly everywhere in the house. I started to think that these people at “The Final Destination” were playing a practical joke and got my location somehow by my phone number, so I thought “I’m going to give them a piece of mind.” However.. as I looked for the phone number in the Yellow Pages I realized that the number and even the page that it was on had vanished, as quickly as it had appeared. I’m not sure if I’ve gone crazy or this was some type of government experiment but one thing is for sure: I will never use the Yellow Pages again.
