The molecular size of \( \mathrm{ICl} \) and \( \mathrm{Br}_{2} \) is approximately same, but b.p. if \( \mathrm{ICl} \) is about \( 40^{\circ} \mathrm{C} \) higher than that of \( \mathrm{Br}_{2} \). It is because :
(a) ICl bond is stronger than \( \mathrm{Br}-\mathrm{Br} \) bond
(b) IE of iodine \( \) IE of bromine
(c) ICl is polar while \( \mathrm{Br}_{2} \) is nonpolar
(d) I has larger size than \( \mathrm{Br} \)
